What is a second brain? It is a system that helps you to capture notes, projects, resources, and tasks in one place. Imagine the perfect organisational system. One where you were able to know EXACTLY where to put every little bit of information in your life. Documents, Files, Notes research, web links, etc. Tiago Forte created such a system. He called it the PARA method.

This is an all encompassing aesthetic Notion Template for The PARA Method. 4 categories encompass your entire life. These are the main aspects of PARA.

PARA stands for:

Project:Short term efforts in your work or life that you're working on now

Area:Long-term responsibilities you want to manage over time

Resource:Topics or interests that may be useful In the future

Archive:Inactive items from the other three categories. You have PROJECTS you are actively working on, short term efforts in work or personal life that have a certain goal in mind like writing a report or buying a computer.

You then have AREAS of responsibility. These are important parts of your life and work that require more consistent attention like at work it may take the form of research, engineering or marketing. At home or in personal life it may look like health or finances or car related activity.

You then have RESOURCES on a range of topics you're interested in for example, graphic design, architecture, fashion, Japanese language, anime.

Finally you have ARCHIVES which include anything from the previous three categories that is no longer active.
